Right of Withdrawal

You can withdraw from the contract right here on the website. At the bottom of this page there is a form that sends your notice immediately, without logging in; you will promptly receive an e-mail confirmation containing the content of your withdrawal and the date and time you sent it. The form is available for the entire period during which the withdrawal period runs. The model form below is for cases where you wish to withdraw by letter or e-mail. The right of withdrawal does NOT apply to personalized goods and digital content (see the Terms and Conditions, Art. 7).

2. Notice of withdrawal from the contract

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the purchase contract for the following goods / the provision of the following service:

• Order / product description: e.g. "Printed book — Emma and the Pirate Adventure"
• Date of order: DD. MM. YYYY
• Date of receipt: DD. MM. YYYY
• Consumer's full name: name
• Consumer's address: street, house number, town/city, postcode
• E-mail / phone: contact
• Bank account number for the refund: IBAN or domestic format

3. Important notice (statutory exception)

For personalized goods (a printed book made to your specifications, e.g. with the child's name and likeness, and gifts from the workshop — greeting card, colouring book, canvas print — made from the illustrations of your book) and for digital content (a PDF book or audiobook supplied, with your express consent, before the withdrawal period expired) it is not possible to withdraw from the contract pursuant to Section 1837(d) and (l) of the Czech Civil Code.

For a gift voucher, on the other hand, withdrawal is possible — within 14 days of its purchase, provided it has not yet been redeemed (see the Terms and Conditions, Art. 13). Please use this form for it as well.

If your printed book arrived defective or damaged, please file a complaint.

4. How to send your withdrawal

• Using the form at the bottom of this page. It is sent immediately, and you will receive an e-mail confirmation with the content of your withdrawal and the date and time it was sent.
• By e-mail to contact@heroofthebook.com (paste the completed model form into the body of the message).
• By post to the seller's registered office address.
